Hair update!

 I wrote about how I've now started to grow one side of my hair that I've been shaving for more than a decade (blog post here ). Well, here is the growth since November 2023.... Still a long way to go but at least, the length is now getting to be a bit more manageable. And here's me going out window shopping again:D This was such a weird outfit as nothing really matched, but hey, the beauty of getting older is you stop caring what others think. LOL Do you constantly change your hair style? Some weekend shenanigans

 Just gonna share some stuff we did this weekend:) 1) Had my birthday a few days ago, so we had a small celebration at home this weekend. 2) Went to a mall for some window shopping:) 3) Went to a music store so my daughter can try some guitars. (She's in a band btw!) 4) Tried making a classic martini for the first time for our book club meeting (but did use vodka instead of gin). Not a fan unfortunately.  What did you do this weekend? Are you excited about the solar eclipse today? :D

New in...coz I can't buy anything else:D

Hoop dreams

 I'm not a big jewelry person. In fact, I don't even wear my wedding ring. (Wut!?!?! It's ok...my hubby doesn't either and we honestly have never worn them, except the first few years we were married, I think.) Anyhoo, lately though, I've been wearing earrings. Hoop earrings, to be more specific. I am obsessed with them! These are just some cheap ones I got from Walmart but I love them. 3 pairs for $7!! Bwahaha! Life lately- late winter 2024

 What I've been up to lately:) 1) Eating my fave foods:D Pot belly soup noodle Tempura poké bowl 3) New phone case Got this from Flaunt and really loving it! 4) Shopping for a new tank My daughter's shubunkins are getting too big so we're looking around for bigger tanks.  5) Reading a lot I read a lot last year (about 102 books) so I'm trying to see if I can do the same this year. Honestly, though, I am aiming to read more classics this year (and also thicker books) so I will most likely not hit this number again, but I'm ok with it!
